    Randy Moss
As a Patriots fan I just don't understand this trade! The Pats part ways with the best WR of all-time (my opinion) for a 3rd round pick that they would have been compensated with by the NFL in the off season if Moss left. The Patriots not only loose their big-play deep threat but also the luxury of having open wr and te's cuz Moss is always double covered. It's like the Pats are throwing away their Superbowl chances and already looking to the future. The Pats need to 1.) Sign Dwayne Jarrett or another talented WR 2.) Trade for a WR or 3.) Use these picks that they have accumulated to trade for a shut down corner or a pass rusher. What do you think the Pats chances are in the Playoffs? And will they make any moves b4 the off season?

    P.S.
**** you Belicheck that was Brady's favorite teammate!

ESPN says right now the draft pick is unconfirmed...but if its only a 3rd then thats a heck of a deal for the Vikings.

Make the playoffs but dont contend. I don't like the trade either for the Pats. Tate, Welker, Hernandez, will all step up and are all threats and good receivers. Time will only tell. Randy was a sour apple in the locker room I bet though. Always thought he should have the ball every play but in fact he was never open to catch the ball. They also have a huge hole at RB.

            he's a bum. like TO

Yeah they will have a good statistical game here and there but when the game is on the line or when the playoff come, they usually disappear.

            Vikes are desperate.

Yea he's a huge disappointment right? He's only ranked 6th in NFL history receiving yards and continues to move up the chart. The best wr of all-time, the only debate is Jerry Rice who didn't play against the talent that there is in todays secondary. And btw T.O. also is one of the best all time, ranking 3rd in receiving yards. But yea there BUMS RIGHT? They must have a good amount of "good statistical games here and there".

              Hahahah ridiculous post!

Unreal, I don't like it either. NE will just select another undersized corner or something. I'll tell you one thing though, Minny is looking really tasty on Monday! & My pick-up of Hernandez in Fantasy may be a bit more valuable too.

Belicheck is smart. He knows he's not winning a superbowl this year. He is stockpiling draft picks to start another dynasty in a couple of years.

We agree to disagree. How many SuperBowls have TO and Ross won btw? A huge reason it's ZERO is because they are selfish. Latest example was when Moss said to the media after a game that this will be his last year in NE. It's all about ME ME ME with the 2 guys. I never said they weren't talented.

So throw out all the stats you want but there's a reason they don't spend their entire career with one team like Rice and great players do. Or at least a majority of their careen with one team.

Time will tell, maybe Moss opening his mouth forced the trade.

I'm sure Belichick was consulted about the trade as he is arguably the best coach in the league. He has something in the pot. Remember what happened when Brady went down in '08, a no name QB with no college starts, let alone pro experience, Matt Cassel came in and took the Pats to an 11-5 record and missed the play-offs by the skin of his teeth. Belichick is not dumb, something is on the go here, although a 3rd round pick if that's what it turns out to be is a very low price for Moss

I'm not worried at the moment. The Pats will be in the hunt for "The Bowl."

Well no way Pats have a chance unless they pick up a player

Miss should do very well in Minny
