yeah but you have to install windows which #1 I dont have a windows disk and #2 I dont want windos on my mac, I got a mac because i like the OS and not getting viruses, I find it hard to believe they can't format a version of the poker for macs

There are options for you.

If you have a fresh copy of Windows, you can install it on your Mac and run Boot Camp. It's an easy setup process, I did it on mine without reading any instructions, the kicker is just having the extra copy of Windows laying around and taking the 30 minutes or so to perform the install.

We had one Mac user report being able to run a program called Crossover to access SBR Poker. Info on Crossover.

Lastly you can run virtual emulator software like Parallels to run Windows, but this is more resource intensive.

I work for apple so I know all of my options but thing is I dont have or want windows on my machine.

I hate macs. Any idiot can rid a virus in 10 minutes if they do get one. And i like the accesibility of a pc much more than a mac. I have a macbook pro, has dust on it cause it never gets used

Fellow mac user, and have never seen poker software supported for mac. Telling SBR Poker to release a mac version when sites like Pokerstars and Full Tilt don't see the need to is kind of ridiculous.

What is the big deal with Macs? I never understood. If they are better than regular computers, why aren't they more in use? Are they harder to use?

I've had my MAC for 6 years now and I have yet to have any trouble with it. It is unbelievable that Poker sites do not give MAC users a chance. I totally understand why a MAC user wouldn't want windows on his machine. We buy MAC so we won't have to deal with that piece of shit software. SBR give MAC users a chance without having us to install unwanted software.

A mac is the same as a pc in every way xcept its not compatible with 85% of all software. No clue why youd want a mac.

Im not going to overpay $600+ dollars for a computer thats less likely to get a virus when i can set a auto backup on my pc and reinstall windows if i ever have a major issue which is usually never.

Are you freaking kidding me, I have pokerstars, full tilt, ultimate bet and absolute poker all loaded on my mac! And if you ever saw a pro poker player playing on there computer on tv its always on a macbook. ALL of the big sites have mac software.
