i took it as that he doesn't look at last weeks games when making his plays. Like how a team did last week doesn't matter when it face it does

It actually holds true. Look at Chicago, they much public love due to their being undefeated and beating Green Bay last week and the Giants have looked pathetic then go out and DOMINATED the Bears.
