i would have gotten buried on overton/watson the first day but luckily didnt get a bet in. paddy seems to be playing like shit so i grabbed z johnson -128 at 5dimes but only small. kinda like kuchar +122 but im passing.

mahan choked. it was a great match

overton/watson wouldve killed me in 1st match but i wouldve won euros to win cup.. luckily i didnt get those bets in so i could atleast root usa on.

mahan has been solid in the past ryder cup but i agree.. someone like z. johnson, furyk, woods shouldve closed. someone who has been in majors or big time events and closed in the end.

4 things from the final round:

1. mahan missed too many short putts on the front 9. I can think of 3
2. sucks for watson. his point was also the difference and he said this was for his father battling cancer who has 3months to live
3. i still dont believe fowler shouldve been selected. rookie on tour. wouldve liked to have seen watney or holmes. will be viewed as a hero for that comeback but i think he went 0-1-2 without looking it up.
4. rory almost cost his team the cup

you gotta have someone formidable closing it out as the anchor. you have to know that, if the TEAM rallies and gets those important early and middle matches going your way, the final matches will be of the utmost importance. and you had to know that Europe with the lead was going to put out a couple of their studs at the end to make sure they hold their leads (harrington and mcdowell).
