Padres players are feeling a lot more shitty than Giants players are feeling good right now... guaranteed.
I guarantee you that most Padres players are still awake either drinking their sorrows away or just feeling shitty about themselves while the Giants players are all sound asleep preparing for the post season.
Losing hurts more than winning feels good. Winning feelings only last so long, losing feelings stick with you until a winning feeling comes along to replace it.
