Is it bad to have your PC running all the time, i mean this weekend it has been on for like 48 hours straight.

If you are running Windows then your computer will slow down as certain processes lag, but for the most part it is not "bad".Comment -

It consumes power, which costs money. Preferably set it to go to sleep after periods of inactivity.
It does not cause any problems though. In the old days, it was unheard of, but in the modern days of Windows 7 and Mac OS X, computers are expected to be stable for weeks at a time.Comment -
Mine has been on for months. Every few weeks I turn it off for a min or two just to get the dust out.Comment -
