Just completing a prison sentence doesn't necessarily wipe the taint of criminal wrongdoing. Paying one's debt to society is not as simple as paying a fine and getting locked up for 18mo. or whatever, it's a complex process that involves a sincere desire to make permanent changes in your own life and often the lives of others.

Sometimes, I think Vick has begun the long hard slog to rebuilding his life.

Then other times, I laugh hysterically about NFL quarterback Michael Vick personally hanging and drowning pitbulls behind a shed somewhere in Virginia.
