    Sportsbetting Mutual Fund
Anyone interesting starting one and betting the best voted plays of the day? We can start with $10,000 and see how much we can make by year's end. We can devide it to 100 units with each unit worth $100. We can play only 5 units max per day. To be eligible to participate you need to purchase at list 1% of the fund.

I would def. be in on it. Ill throw in $100 on it. We got to make sure the person in charge of it is very trustworthy (not saying your not pavy, Im newer around here so Im still getting to know people).

I think this would be a good idea. Setup a time everynight in a chat room or something where we all discuss the next days plays, ect. This could work...

This will also teach you/me money management skills since your money will be tied up and you won't be able to make your own stupid bets

GREAT INNOVATED IDEA i would buy a few % myself, mabye set up the fund as a seperate entity as a revocable trust.of course have it llced the benefactors and all that.wonder what books would take the action.

                  here is my 2c
that idea can already be implied partly right here.have a weekly disscussion about specific games slated for the week.have diffrent opinions from diffrent people using diffrent techniques to cap..[exp, a stats man,a value seeker,a favorites picker] i guess what im saying is that even in the daily picks threads here it seems like alot of the cappers just encourage, and follow eachothers picks giving no great angle EYES into a specific game.BUT YA KNOW WHAT i really do not think this will fly, because their is to much HATE,STUPIDITY,and KIDS around but its one hell of an idea,if this place just had one ounce of open minds, unity, and a true love of making money, and respect for the proffesion we would all benefit, and be able to share the wealth

What laws does it break? It's like when people chip in money to buy a race horse and it has many owners. This one is actually less risky than buying an animal that can die or run like a mule.

If we get at least 20 people with $500 I don't see how the fund will lose money at the end of year. If we find the people then we can vote for a fund manager.

This is a good idea but how can you decide on a person to run/control the cash?

I'd be down for about 2.5% to try it out. If you want to show me some facts etc I"d committ more. But this is a pretty big trial basis thing. I'd be willing to go upwards of 5% if needed.

Where would the fun reside at and what books would the money be in at?

if you have bunch of US residents, DOJ can bust you for book keeping. since you post it here, there is already public records.

to make this work, your money has to be outside of united states. and there is no SEC or FDIC, so trust is a issue here. good idea, but not going to work out.

besides what do you know about people on this forum beside their username?
