I am done using ESPN website
Used to be a good website for scores and player stats but now they have made it impossible to use I can not find defensive statistics for teams only offensive, MLB team matchups used to clearly list starting pitcher stats, pages are loaded with flash videos and annoying pop ups and drop down bars that drop down as soon as you click on a link causing you to click the drop down banner and sending you to another site, pages take forever to load because they are boged down with flash.

Fuk ESPN.com too much competition out there for them to get greedy and load their site down with spam and flash I am officially erasing ESPN's bookmark on my computer.

    Agreed. But what's now?

I'll stick with CBS sportline to replace ESPN they are slow also but at least I do not have to worry about yesterdays show that I watched 3 times yesterday on t.v.popping on and scaring the shit out of me while I am waiting and wondering why the fuk the page is taking so long to load, not to mention all of the damn advertisements.

Bad enough they air the same show 10 times a day now it is necessary to air it on their website bogging it down while I try to check a few stats

That is the main reason I never could use them. They have a lot more good stuff then yahoo sports, but they try to cram too many ads on to the site, and just needs to be cleaned up.
I typically use yahoo sports. I've been happy with it for the last 8 years.

You are correct there is too many bells and whistlers. Us sports loves will come as always though, while espn and sports in general is about attracting the passive/non fan.

I agree ESPN site sucks, too cluttered and they put half of the good stories on espn insider. I am not gonna pay 9.95 a month to read the internet.

I do not like that it takes forever to get live updates... Maybe SBR should get involved to talk with the quality assurance dept at ESPN...
