Are 99% of Books sleeping in the same bed now?
Is this the sign of tight-fist, financial times?

I don't recall seeing so many conservative Books! Look at some of the college games. They're all almost identical in totals and point spreads.

And most of these bonus offers suck big-time. 5Dimes has really sunk to amateur bonuses in my opinion. They have several programs to offer, yet, all seem to have a snag, or, maybe a baited hook for a gullible fish?

If you choose one of these "catchy" so-called bonuses, you are stuck with that choice for eternity.

Here is one of those "juicy"reward offered programs. A real bargain for point buyers.
Buy a 1/2 point for 20 cnts.,buy 1 point for 30 cnts., buy 1 1/2 for 40 cnts., and so on til you reach around 100/ 175, then you save a whopping 5 cents here and there!

5 Dimes is a MAJOR BOOK! So is BOOKMAKER.
BOOKMAKER had a special just the other day. Sign-up for a tremendous bonus, a 20 percent'er, or, just reload for that same special bargain.

What is going on here? Do the sharp gamblers notice what is going on in today's modern" computerized gaming world?
The large Books want it all, low or no bonuses, rules galore. And, after all those handcuffs on "we" honest gamers, we are supposed to pick winners ? Winners, where these close to being called "mafia" type Books, are controlling the numbers, where we , gamers, have to struggle like a SOB to scratch out a hard earned extra 1/2 point!
The one you have to search relentlessly for!

Maybe we only need MATCHY? No bonuses, no handcuffs, some breathing room to maneuver, and just you and I against our fellow comrades!

Any vets want to offer some opinions on this "New World of Gambling?"

UIGEA in 2006 changed the landscape. Lots of the smaller books were put out of business. More books = more competition = diverse lines in order to attract players. Now, with the exception of Pinny and Matchy, all lines are basically vanilla. This results in books not offering juicy bonus incentives like they used to. Just like in other industries, less competition has been bad for the consumer.

        Didn't get Fishhead's point?

My point is: I am having a extremely difficult time respecting any Book's that are this tight and excessively rich at the same time.
Now, if you do stumble upon an extra 1/2 point , before you say "whoopee", check the exorbitant price tag that comes along with it!

How does an average, or even an above gambler survive these shark infested waters?
Do these young and inexperienced gamblers on this forum really think they can make a dent in these greedy Books, do it, then stay afloat, are seriously in a dream world.

My opinion guys, you are dead in the water!
My sound advice is to go back to school and make your living with a steady paycheck or income.

95% of you fellows are after "fool's gold' in this gambling world we live in presently!

"Exactly right!" [quote from Wade Garrett in Road House]

That is typical of these Books. No respect! You are nothing more than another loaf of bread on their abundant food table!
You sound like an intelligent fellow? Take my sound advice above and seek out other forms of pleasures!

These sporting games are rigged overwhelming against you.
