The end of the year awards are approaching, and I think that Terry Francona deserves the Coach of the Year Award. This guy has coached a team disrupted by injuries to an 87-69 record, which could be a 90 win season. He's coaching in the best division in baseball where the Rays, Yanks, Sox, and Jays could all be playoff teams if not for competing in the same league. The Sox have had potentially the worst inury riddled team in the history of the game. They have lost the whole lineup to injury for a portion of time with the exception of Adrian Beltre. How many coaches would be able to coach a lackluster offensive team to a 90 win season, and be in arms reach of the Playoffs. The answer is nobody. The only other potential candidate other than Tito is Ron Gardenhire. If they somehow miraculously made it in to the Playoffs it would be a no-brainer for COY, and possible the best display of coaching that MLB has ever seen.

Wow what an unintelligent post, you obviously haven't watched any Red Sox games, or furthermore ever been a part of an athletic team urself! Cuz if you have had either prior experiences you would understand how hard it is to get ur team to continually compete when you are continually dished blow after blow of injuries. Ask any coach in the league and there vote would be for Terry Francona! The team has had more injuries then Carter has pills. Stupid Moves? The only stupid move is by the GM Theo Epstein not bringing in additional veterans/talent when these guys went down with injuries.
