Rays have being resting a mostly healthy Longoria for awhile now. They don't really care about this game (or any others until playoffs start). Orioles start has been hot. At this price you want ALL the chips in your favor before betting on the huge public favorite.

This is also Price's final start before the playoffs. He's due to pitch on the final game of the season but its been publically known that TB will not start him for that game as they want him to pitch Game 1 of the playoffs.

With an extra day or two off in between starts, the Rays may be inclined to keep him in slightly longer to get him his 19th win of the season.


However, I am always hesitent on taking the runline on the home team. Maybe its me, but I usually get burned on these when I take them on a huge ML favorite.
