I have been hanging in there a little, some bright guys. But bring your A game. It's a very serious subforum and if you are not on your A game you will get torn apart. I am pretty good with stats and math but a lot of the shit in there was over my head. Do not go in there and blindly ask questions, you will get ripped a new asshole. Good guys though, just very serious.

These guys are looking for people who can add value, not talk BS like the guys in PT

I think most questions get answered pretty well and in a civilized manner in Think Tank.

The problem is that there are lots of questions (over half) that come in that are like "Can't I just bet -2000 favorites every day" or "What if I chase a team 5 times in a row and double each bet" or "I have a fool proof system where I bet Road Dogs that have lost 3 times in a row". Basically any generalized betting pattern where it is played regardless of the line's position. Any "pick" that doesn't offer a player's estimate versus the market line and a calculated edge to go along with it, does not belong in the think tank.

3.8 is meaningless unless you know how big is the sample size .
