It sounds like some posters were beginning to treat blog points as something guaranteed to them if they made a 500 word write-up on a game.

Posters need to blog because they want to blog, not because they expect to be credited SBR Points. Any poster that writes exceptional content will be given points if they are featured on the following daily SBRforum.com section.



Asking for your blog to be featured in the above section will automatically detract a few (figurative) points from the quality of the article. These articles are hand-picked by the editing team.

yes, at least 5 blogs, think it may have even been 6 blogs of mine over the course of the past 10-12 days (probably pointless to look them up but if you state to give you exact dates for points, I'll dig through them and post which ones weren't credited, all in my history). This new system is fine, you guys make the rules and we play by them, but just feel that posters should have been notified with a post regarding this new issue.

If you have an example of any unpaid points for blogs that were featured on SBRforum.com's section, we will credit right away.

With regard to points given out to posters that made individual blogs — the prior notices & sticky's all stated that blog points would be given to worthy blogs. Discretion was always used. While many of you are good writers that happened to be credited points anyway, this was never something actually 'guaranteed' during the old policy.

We've updated the Points forum sticky's with the new blog points breakdown, and will create a new thread to highlight it further.

I have no problem with the new change, but this is absolutely ridiculous that I and others aren't being credited the points from before this rule was announced. How long were you going to wait to inform people of this rule change while letting us blog without getting points????

This just makes you look like a prick. It doesn't mean shit to you to credit some degens like me with 45 points that are just gonna lose them right back, yet you pull this shit. Like I said in my last post, I have no problem with the rule, but that's pretty fair of you to let us know that it was in action retroactive to three or four days ago. And by fair, I mean the opposite of fair...which would be unfair. You stay classy San Diego.

By the way, I apologize for bitching in a similar way to someone like Pavy, but points are my life.

Boys, go look for some loose change in your couch and you'll make up the 45 pts lost or whatever it is. You don't pay to be in the pts program, therefore you aren't entitled to anything. Bateman is complaining about points he was never promised, but that he expects because other people got points.

Now we got a bunch of dumb fukk "bloggers" who also were never outright promised points for writing some piece of shit, but are upset because other people who wrote blogs got points.

You self-entitled pieces of garbage need a reality check.

I hope SBR starts giving out infractions or bans for some of this bullshit.
