As a sox fan, I am really hoping Papelbon gets traded this offseason. Though I doubt there is much trade value for a closer, not to mention the closer than has blown more saves than anyone this year.

I knew once it went to extra innings the run line was screwed. I was hoping for a home run. If u have bases loaded tied ballgame and cant get a pitch over the plate guaranteed u have no business in the mlb.

Even when papelbon HAD to get a strike he threw one down the middle and Cano singled. Walking in a game winning run is just absolutely unbelievable. Add that to Sean "im so cool" peyton kicking a FG on first down missing it then icing a blocked FG. What an annoying day. Thanks god for Peyton Manning.

the real mistake was made by francona...you have to send dick k back out there in the 9th...he had a low pitch count and was doing good......you dont lift him to put that drunkard paplebon into the game.....if dice k loses it for you then so be it.....but give the guy a chance he pitched his heart out....time to can paplebon, okajima, and francona.
