If I understood your question correctly: They are two separate pools and sometimes money has carried over from the previous race depending on if/how many people hit it the race before and if whomever won it the previous race only bet it for fifty cents or not. Plus it depends on what course and tote you're using to place your bet.

That makes no sense. Its Australia A at Dausenberg or whatever the hell its called...I've seen tris pay 15k but I hit a monster and get nothing.....I just don't understand how the pool works. If you could come to chat and explain it to me I'd me much obliged.
