Tax refunds typically come in the form of direct deposit into a bank account. You can then do whatever you want with it. If they send you a check, no you cant send that to a sportsbook the same way you couldn't with any check.Comment -

#8Sending a tax refund check to an off shore sports book doesn't seem like a wise move. These type of activities are better off being shielded from the current government.Just cash the thing and proceed accordingly.
Perhaps sometime in the future we could have the refund direct deposited to a goverment sponsered gaming site,It could be a win win situation.Comment -

#9Thanks guys. I needed to find out if anyone accepted tax refunds. You here all the time car dealers accept them so I thought books would also accept tax refunds since the money is guaranteed.Comment -

#10That's usually more like getting an advance (or loan) based on the amount of your expected refund.Comment -

This isn't anything more than what HR Block does. They charge a ridiculous interest rate to give you money the gov't owes you just a little bit earlier than the gov't will give you. It's a giant scam for dumb people.
Of course, if you are getting a big tax refund you generally aren't the sharpest financial planner.Comment -
