What would you do if some ******* dog chased your truck and got ran over ?

Too bad, I drove on ! I'm not going to try to capture your dog that got loose ( via your negligence) and take it to a vet at my expense....and probably get bitten doing it !

It's roadkill then !

I'll make every effort to avoid hitting any animal....if a ******* dog chases cars, too bad....then you die if you hit my tires !

Pick it up move it off the road search for tags and call the owner.

I stopped and the owner chased me around my truck with a shovel

I hit a dog like that a few years ago in my girlfriends car. The fuker chased me every day for 3 years & I never knew who the owner was, but he got under the tire one day & theres nothing I could do. He made a horrible fukin sound, Ill never forget it. When it happened there was a guy joggin up the road a ways, I asked him if he knew whos dog that was, he said no but he was sure glad I killed the motherfuker!

That is heartless. Nobody is going to make you pay for it...take it to the emergency vet and let them handle it from there.

Yeah right....I take in some suicedal /dog that finally chased down my truck ( because his owners let him roam.....then this injured animal is not going to bite me,,,yeah right , like a skunk or possum,etc.

Not a chance in HELL I do that, unless I have a guarantee the dog won't bite me....and has an insurance chip in it's paw !
