    JJ, just got phucken buried
Indiana Phucking University, the lock of the day with their home record against the hobbled huskies, just royally phucked me over. I went all in on it, pal. All the way phucken in and now I'm at absolute zero on my account. GODDAMNYOU, INDIANA! First time I've lost this much since last June in baseball season when I grew overconfident.

Just got this sick emptiness in my stomach. It will take me a compel weeks to re-load but keep thinking what's the phucking point? I'll build it up with disciplined play for a few months then get overconfident, bet big and lose it all again.

Same pattern for the last 16 years, JJ, and each time I swear I've learned my lesson. You know what my problem is? I can't wait for the real locks. No patience. I need action each and every day.

Just wanted to say that this degenerate phuck knows how You feel, pal. Times are tough. All is anything but well.

Hope you do well today. I'm going to drink for a few days and then try to come back. Sick, sick, sick.

    Later.

    Buzzy

JJ I disagree. I bet big amounts on championship games because the possibility of a fix is limited. Examples are BCS championship game, Superbowl, NCAA basketball final game. If I am confident about the outcome of the game I punish the books to the full extend.

Maybe because they don't exist if you know anything about probability.

Bet the same amount on every game period
You keep saying this yet cannot prove how it could possibly be right. Please stop giving such awful advice.

The Pats will win. However, I think the best value is betting on the over points 20.5 for Giants.

JJ, that is so tough to do. I can satisfy that urge to bet each day, most of the time, with consistent small plays. Every once and a while though this incredible urge to bet big comes over me. I go for it, win, and keep betting big until I miss. Then i chase and go bust.

I know the rules. Just can't seem to follow em for long.

Imagine my pain now, JJ. I'm here, zero on my account, TONS of games on but I got no action. To top it all off I'm flat broke outside the acct as well so raising funds will take a while. A good 2 weeks with no action.

Gonna be rough. Real rough. All over the tv all they can talk about is how shorthanded UCONN upset Indiana. They keep putting salt in my wounds, JJ. They keep rubbing it in AGAIN AND A-PHUCKEN-GAIN!

                  PHUCK ME!

Phuck that, JJ! The pressure is already un-phucken-real. My wife doesn't know I gamble so I have to be discreet about it. If bank statements start coming in for a loan that would not be good. Appreciate the advice though. Any other ideas?

I just took a bunch of bottles to the Beer Store and got 15 bucks for em. There's a start. Got 20.00 cash in wallet. Put that with the 15, that's 35.

BTW, Purdue just won and I was debating between them and Indiana for my play on the ML parlay with memphis. PHUCK ME!

parlays are free cash to the books. Stop betting them. Maybe you'd have a bankroll then.

JJ, just got something to eat. hadn't eaten all day. Feel like a new man. Now I can think straight. I was doing great. Just had a money mgmt slip is all. Just re-loaded with a credit card and am back in action. No bets tonight though. Just nice seeing that balance on the page in front of me. Oh what a comfort it is.

Another tough lesson re-learned again today. Gonna save up as much cash as possible and send that in too. get a big fat balance on there. the bigger the balance the happier I am, pal. The happier I will be.

Buztah, I got killed on the play today too. Thing is, there was nothing wrong with our bet. Indiana's home streak, Uconn's players being suspended, Indiana's performance this year, Uconn's performance this year, the spread, everything led up to a perfect bet. We didn't read it wrong, we didn't make the wrong bet, it really just played out wrong. That's the way I'm looking at this one as I lost a ton on it as well - I thought it was a lock too. Was my most confident play in probably a few weeks. So, in essence, we can't think of it as a bad bet, it just didn't play out as it should have.

MM, really appreciate that. Just goes to prove once again that you can be a wiz at picking/capping but if you've no money mgmt discipline you will go bust eventually. When i think of what my balance was last night and what it is today it just sickens me. I'm already starting to feel better though and am trying to learn what I can from this experience to try and help myself in future.

                                    All the very best.

                                      Buzzy,

A poker playing legend once gave me a sound piece of advice that would be ideal to pass onto you in this situation. Unfortunately, I've smoked far too much pot in my lifetime to even remember it. The overall gist was not to be in a hurry to put it all in the middle, there will be plenty of opportunities. Have to be able to ante up to take advantage of them!

know how you feel buz, we have all been there. Was nothing worse for me winning all day and then getting up a lot and then losing it on a late game or something, espcially a blow save or last second shot. You then go to bed and think shit, i was up a lot. I am a pretty small player starting around 100-200 or so and there has been many times i have gotten up around 2k and then lost in all in a matter of a few bets. Going to bed was hard thinking damn the stuff i could of bought with this money and instead its gone. Then i would win a bit and get up around 400-500, but i would still be sick and felt like it took forever to get back up. Then you watch tv and highlights over and over and then the rent comes due the next day and you are like shit if i only had that money i won. I like to bet 2 game parlays so it really hurts when you win the first half and the second blows, you think about that shit for a while. Now i am more undercontrol and have a bankroll. I only deposit so much each week and if i lose i look at it like a weekend out. I don't go over my limits and have felt better about losing. it still hurts though. Just don't tilt like in poker. you are doing right thing by not betting tonight. just take it easy and slow and get back on track. try to put it out of your head, take the wife out for dinner or something. i usually would just watch movies and keep it off espn. Take care and good luck tommorow.

Wtt, what you just said is my experience in a nutshell. I can relate to every word. You keep going over it in your head and thinking if only I didn't chase I'd still be up overall but this incredible urge to always have the account bigger today than it was yesterday buries you in the end, you go bust, re-load and start over.

Anyway, I now have re-loaded and am waiting to place a bet until tomorrow actually. Maybe even the next day. For fun I might share leans today but no money will go on the line as I'm still shaken up.

I can't tell you how much I hate GODDAMN INDIANA UNIVERSITY RIGHT NOW! MotherPHUCKERS! When they show the school's logo, that I and U, it looks like a big hand with the PHUCK YOU symbol to me. The I looks like a middle finger! That's what they did. They PHUCKED ME!

In reality though, I did this to myself. How can I expect to win every game? Can't do it. I need to just bet small always I guess. No matter what. Bet small.

I know this is all talk and in about a week or two when I'm back in stride I'll be betting 20-30% of my wad on a play and winning and thinking how I might someday do this full-time. That's usually the thought I have right before it all goes straight to hell.

                                                  Yup yup

Sorry buzzy for your losses man, I personally enjoyed IU losing as girl was with for a long time was alumini of their and she really @$@$@ me over so glad to see them lose, but sorry you and marino and everybody else had alot on them.

I have been following them all year and they just seemed iffy to me everytime was going to play them, it seemed to good so stood off and thanked myself.

Goodluck with your bankroll going back up, I defietely know how that is, just other weekend had like so many games to choose from and I could only do like 2 games out of 25 or something it was nuts. But you know, sometimes that is better, as your more focused on those and see things in different light and then take that winning, be smart with it, and build it back up.

Just don't chase or anything else because then you have a problem. Hope it works out, I know it will just hang in there we all have good streaks and bad ones.

Sick, sick, sick.

wow, getting a loan takin out to gamble is by far a last resort in my opinion, even if it would come to that i dont think that is at all wise. That would just be asking for problems in the long run.

btw jj, please tell me you really haven't takin a loan out to gamble, and if so please tell me you at least made some money by doing so...because for some reason i can only see bad things happen if someone was to do that

It seems like once you do bet those big amounts and you start hitting em, you feel unstoppable and moneys coming easy, then u see your roll start growing and growing, but once you hit a wall on one or two huge bets u start playing out of your head and things start heading south as far as decisions and plays. Then you feel no excitement betting the small amounts so u try ur luck at the jackpot with 1 game. Then of course u know how that ends up......emotions, greed, and impatience took over and now were back at ground zero.
