yep. i took the under 10.5 for 3 units, first quarter. TCU ran a running play for 8 yds to the SMU 4 yd line. The clock stopped at 21 seconds for about 10 seconds. No first down the clock just stopped. So instead of about 10 seconds left before TCU even thinks about running a play, they signal in another play with 21 seconds left and run it in. The timekeeper just cost me 3 units. If i was at the game i would cut his achilles

Didn't bet anything, but I was honestly thinking the same thing.

No TO, no first down, how is the clock not running? Never seen that before.

no doubt it cost me a huge chunk of money. the clock just stopping. no first down, just stopped until they ran another play. i would alter the lives of many ppl if i had access to the timekeeper. i would slash him with a knife, absolutely. like a madman i would get him for that. and if i could get to the person who hired him i would get him as well, but i would be subdued b4 then

This is why I only bet basketball 1Q's in the NBA with an accurate clock.

Many times you cap the game right only to be screwed by a last second TD that may or may not be scored before time expires.

i agree. but the clock stopped like it was a first down. it wasnt even close. they ran an extra play. it was a horrendous turn of events and no comment by the announcers cause they know, id get them too if i had a chance

I saw that because I almost took the same bet. I couldnt believe it when the clock just stopped. It was short of the first down. Weird. I would have needed a new TV if I had taken that 10.5.

I was thinking the same thing. No reason for the clock to be stopped and I believe TCU went no huddle to screw you even more. The clock would have expired with it running and TCU huddling.

didnt bet it but it was real fishy and was thinking when it went down that they hooked some ppl up, or in your case screwed some ppl over. messed up i remember a few weeks ago in the hou/utep game they kept running the clock 5-10 seconds after incomplete passes, timeouts, ect. cant trust these timekeepers.

I saw the play live and I thought the same thing. It looked as if one of the officials came in and stopped the clock because he thought it was close enough to measure for a first down, but it was clearly a full yard short. ESPN panned away I believe and the clock was stopped, so I assumed they were going to measure even though it wasn't close. I think they decided not to measure but the head ref was way to slow on the clock restart. That's what happens when you get teams from shitty conferences you also get shitty refs.
