I am slightly dissapointed with pinnacle. I made some wagers on the Canadian election that still have not been settled. There is no contreversy regarding the results and the election was last Monday. I don't really care, but it's interesting because of all the verbal handjobs that pinnacle gets around here...

I want to make it clear that I wasn't crying to the forum, nor was I asking for help. I'm not worried about the bet being graded and i'm not worried about my funds. I agree that Pinnacle is a great site. I'm sorry if I offended anyone; never again will I post anything that could even be conceived as negative about Pinnacle.
BTW: Being Canadian and following the election, I couldn't help but notice the large discrepancy between Pinnacle's late election lines and what the polls were showing. While I concede that I am a degenerate gambler, I would still have to rank this one above betting on "Dancing With the Stars," but then again sometimes you have to do whatever it takes to make something watchable.Comment -

You always have to be careful about betting on elections. It's always a bit unclear as to when the results will be graded.
DO you know if any other book has graded (or offered ) this wager. In the meantime, you should email Pinn to ask when the wager will be graded.Comment -

FWIW, there were others I've seen have a similar problem with the Canadian election wagers. They sent an e-mail, and Pinny cancelled the wager and manually adjusted their accounts to reflect a win.Comment -

I think we're being a little bit harsh on Ira. Pinnacle is great but as Bill pointed out, that doesn't mean they can do no wrong. Ira certainly has a right to bitch a little bit about his wagers not being graded. When you bitch about Pinnacle to the forum, at least there is a chance that the error may be corrected in the future as Pinnacle obviously tries to avoid negative press whenever possible.
Contrast that with bitching to the forum about a book that isn't paying you. That seems to be the mistake people make. You aren't getting paid so either you are trying to scam the book or the book has no money to pay you. If you are scamming then you will be exposed quickly. If the book has no money, then the negative press you are creating will only insure the book receives even less money. That is why it is best to discreetly present your situation to Bill if you are dealing with a slowpayment.
Having said that, I would like to personally give Pinnacle a verbal handjob for creating the best product available on the internet.Comment -
