Are SBR Forums -EV for the average Poster??
    The King thinks so..

For the most part, this place is great and gives people a lot of free stuff, but you can become swallowed up by this place if you are not careful..

Unless you are a paid poster, you should come here and take advantage of the perks and get out.. the more time you spend here, the more you will lose. If you are even half as sharp as the King you should be able to find out what you need on your own..

If you know what JJ has been up to lately, you are spending too much time here and should take a break..

Get your points, make your contest selections, and get on with your day... 98% of the people here know nothing more about sports than the average joe you work with daily..

spend more time WATCHING games and less time arguing with bateman and the King promises you a better gambling life..

Yes it's true.... the more time you spend on sbr forum the less wagers you win. The correct strategy is to pop in a few times a day and get a feel for the games. Always best to fade the majority picks by sbr. Collect your points. If your in a contest make your pcks, but as you said don't let the forum swallow you up!

The fact that so many spend so much time here tells us that they didn't have a life to begin with, not that SBR now all of a sudden consumes too much time.

Let us not forget how sbr stays in business. The very survival of this forum depends on the loading of sponsoring book accounts and the draining of them. Thus thru advertising and affiliate book deposits sbr is a business. So in essence sbr wants you to lose just as much as your book does.

            We love SBR

I am actually thinking of building a mini team here at my place where I get buds to all post together as a team

I think it is effective too

i'm not sure how spending more time here equals losing more money
people are going to bet about the same amount of money no matter how much time they spend here

not sure how getting free money in contests/points/etc and free bash (probably worth $1000 w/travel reimbursement) is -ev

i do agree that you can just post once a day to get points and enter contests but where's the fun/socializing in that?
life's not just about making money
