I dont get this about NFL trades

Now i watch the NFL alot but i dont get the trades sometimes teams make.

Was just watching ESPN and they said the chargers would have traded Vincent Jackson if they were offered a 2nd and 4th round draft pick. Why do elite players at there position always get traded for nothing? hes a top 5 WR in regards to his age and what are you going to get with a 4th rounder that comparable to him? You wont see the Kings trade Evans for a 1st(outside of lottery) and 2nd rounder much less a 2nd and 4th(if even feasible)

There is no fvckin way that he is top 5, not even top 10 guy. He is an idiot and troubled WR, nobody wants to get him and have to take over his contract.

His salary will be huge and the draft picks salary will fall in line.Cap value and worthless to the current owner due to history.2nd and a 4th is solid value.
