I would think you would be more crazy to take Minn. The Vikes are favored by 11 and have yet to even score 11 in a game, much less beat someone by that much. I think Rice being out is hurting their O a little more than people may have realized. Harvin is questionable because of his headaches and, even when healthy, he may not be ready to be the #1 receiver.
Detroit proved last week that they can put some points on the board so, at this point, 11 seems like an extremely big number for the Vikes to cover.Comment -

Double digit spread is a lot for the vikes to cover but they have a strong trend in their favor at the very least. Since 2002 teams that are favorites of 6.5 or more before going into a bye week are 34-8 ATS (Childress 1-0 in that situation). Thanks to walter football for that nugget.Comment -
