They did not calculate how impt Ludwick was to the batting order. No one stepped in to pick up his production. In addition, they need to hit and run more when Molena is batting. His speed makes any type of ground ball a double play. Finally, their relief in general was absolutely horrible. First thing a Card's relief pitcher would do is walk one or 2 to get things started.

The third baseman (Friese?) who was hurt was putting up Ludwick #'s and if he is/was healthy they have him for next year. Don't want to give up too soon on Rasmus bat. Ryan the SS is valuable in the field to the point he only needs to hit .250, but he didn't do that much of year.

I will take my chances with some fine tuning--nothing major.
