Mlb ml vs rl

Does anyone know if there has been a test done on the results of playing all mlb games rl instead of ml. I know some ml games can be pretty high and the rl is always a better number. I have emailed some experts and they swear that the ml is the way to go. I am just curious if anyone knows the answer. thanks for everyone's time.

away teams RL is better to take as they definatly get 9 innings of at bats. Also, the higher the run total, the more likely the team wins by 2 or more.

I prefer ML because late inning rallies seem to always kill the RL.

All I bet is RL unless it's a damn good underdog in the ML. Better have knowledge of bullpens and closers, and what buddy said about the total being high has some truth to it.
