Wait, is the black bolded part a secret hint to me that I've already won or are you just inviting me to eat your free food at your tailgate party (given that I'm already committed to being in Champaign that weekend) regardless of the outcome of your contest? BTW, if there is secret code in this message, the way the pink highlighted part is worded is again scary me... i.e., I'm thinking it could be somekind of message to Brocko and Rickie about your sinister intentions for me since you are clearly implying that I already won...

LV don't worry so much. You get some free food when we tailgate. You get a free ticket. That is, if no one else beats you out of it. The contest runs through October 4th. That gives you over 3 weeks to nail down the details. It's gonna be a blast. But, you will need to provide me with some personal info (phone number to reach you, maybe a picture so I know who to look for, etc.) but that is all dependent on the outcome. You don't need to worry about that now. But the winner will have to provide some way for me to contact them.

When I tailgate at IOWA game, I bring enough beer and food to feed NO LESS THAN 20 PEOPLE AND I HAVE posters on this site that can verify this). You can't provide FOOD AND DRINK for one person?????..............cmon dude.

5team has been to a FISH tailgate along with a good group of fellow posters. Fish was prepared like a PRO and had his BLACK/GOLD flag hanging high sometime around 5 AM (drunk by 6) .... He needed to rent a big white VAN just to carry all the booze and food.... ADDED BONUS was CORN right off the grill done the way IOWANS only know how to.... HE WILL TELL YOU NOT TO BRING THING IT'S COVERED!!!! and stress it BTW....



HOPEFULLY someday BROCK and others can come down to Tampa to experience this. I mention Brock because we have mutual friends here and hope he stumbles through here sometime..... I don't expect U of I to be in the outback bowl anytime soon though.

Just for as a comparison I've been looking at Nebraska / Oklahoma State tickets for the week before this and they want $100 a ticket (for what I'm assuming are the nose bleed seats that are left)... Hell, while I was at the site I noticed they wanted $70 for OSU / Troy tickets, and (apparently what I guess is a prime game?) $90 for OSU / Baylor...

Go look for decent seats to this game, during this particular weekend, check eBay or stubhub or whatever...65 a ticket is what I paid. Doubtful you can find any between the 35-50 yard line for 50 a ticket or less....and...the contest is not currently doing very well, is it? Only one real entry from a guy that doesn't even want to go? Bizarre indeed.
