    Money line/unit question
I just started tracking my picks for record keeping. I have a question. If I wager $100 for a money line wager (and I consider $100 to be one unit) and I win: what do you consider this win in units? Thanks.

If the Money Line is an underdog, then its easy. +120 is +1.2 units, +130 is +1.3 units, etc. If you lose on a Money Line underdog, you only lose -1 unit instead of -1.1 units.

Now if the Money Line is a favorite, be consistent with how you bet in real life. If you bet a -140 favorite, do you bet 1.40 units to win 1.00 units, or do you bet 1.00 unit to win 0.71 units (100/140)? Whatever the answer is, that how you should track them.
