New SBROdds Print feature

Since so many of you have requested the ability to print the sbrodds page. We've added a new button today to the menu for printing. We've noticed a few browsers here in the office printed the page differently so if anyone has problems printing please let me know.

*NOTE* Firefox users ( any maybe IE ) need to change their print settings before clicking the button.

Go to File -> Print Preview -> Page Settings and check "Shrink to fit page width" if you don't click this button only the first few books will be displayed.

What does this do?? What are benefits? I would love lets say 2 columns of games so we can get a lot per page maybe with 2 lines each game. Whitey lets conserve paper and have ability to make more than one vertical column. Make it happen Whitey.

I think there is something going on with the secruity permissions in Chrome let me check and see if we can get it fixed for you.

JJ you can try out the print button to see what it does already. You might have to hit CTRL + F5 for it to show up though the first time.

I like the option. I have been printing the spreads from Bullz-eye, which has little blank columns to write in other things like power rankings, my line, etc which is really nice.

SBR has some kind of relationship with these guys so I dont think they'll mind for me linking this. Its just for organizational purposes I find this layout very nice & think you guys will too

Some good ideas, I'm not sure how many of them we'll be able to build into the current version, but it gives us something to think about with the new one we're working on.

Nice Feature, might try it out next week. I am still a big fan of the Bookmaker books they send out with all the games and room for notes.

Looks sharp but prints like 10 books per page, split the fukkin page and would look awesome

approx 40 games right now per page

I got it to print 40 games vertical with about 10 books per game displaying lines
I just hit print

I want two vertical columns side by side maybe with 3-4 books for each game , it would look sharp

SBRlines cut and paste vertically fine on excel if you are using Firefox. However, the "blank" squares (when there is no line) do not create a blank line, so the sequence is messed up.

Hm i'm not sure about that, but for sure we can add that to the new version. We'll probably have a couple options, PDF, Print, Excel, and XML. For now we had to hack the current site even to get it to print.

JJ we can't add the 2 columns right now, but I will consider it in the future, also the idea someone had about extra space to add notes. Can't make any promises because of the time restraints on the project but whatever we can fit in I will try to do.

There's no date for the new version that we want to release yet, however I can say that we're still months away. The print feature will be back today though I just haven't had a chance to update it yet.

I like the idea, although lines are somewhat constantly moving as well... I'm sure it'll be nice for alot of people though
