    Thank you Justin7 and BetPhoenix
I mistakenly submitted a wager on tonight's NFL game last night online at BetPhoenix. I immediately contacted them via livechat, but it was late and their CS couldn't do anything for me.

I sent Justin a pm with a transcript of my chat session and he responded within about 15 minutes. (It was about 1:30am EST by this point after an almost hour long chat process with BP.)

Justin asked me to email him the bet ticket and my account number, which I did last night. He emailed me this morning at 9:30 to let me know he had written BP. Then about an hour ago he mailed me again that the wager had been deleted.

I don't know if it was a big deal for them to cancel the wager or not, but I'm pretty sure without Justin's assistance I would have been stuck with a bet that I did not mean to submit. I just want to publicly acknowledge my appreciation for the service SBR provides, and also the generous accommodation BetPheonix made on my behalf. I am very appreciative of both.

If you ever have an issue with a sportsbook, let this site know. SBR does a lot of things for us, and this is a very important role they play.

    Thanks again to all involved.

That's what their CS told me. This instance was pretty clearly an honest mistake and I contacted them - again - literally within seconds.

As long as the line has not moved against you a book should cancel the wager.

i've had this happen a few times over the years.
i always call immediately and the book usually cancels it with no problems
i would recommend calling instead of live chat for these types of issues
