Pats -13, I hate laying that much wood, but the Bills are just that bad. Pats are pissed and gonna take it out on someone.

Lions +10, I don't trust the Vikings yet and the Lions are pesky. Hopefully this line goes up a little bit by the end of the week.

Jags +3, Philly is not good enough to be laying points on the road to competent teams. Jags are good enough to win this.

Bengals -3, Carolina looks terrible, Cincy isn't that bad. This looks like a gift.

The Bengals are a gift to refresh the BR after sunday. I think it's because of thier 2 week consecutive crapfest games. They really should of blown Choke-o & The ravens out.

Trap games:

1. Pitt at TB (-1): Vegas is begging you to take the Steelers
2. Dallas at Houston (-3): Dallas is 0-2 but in both cases, they were moderate to heavy favorites. They do much better when faced with adversity and as a dog. This game reminds me so much of the Dallas at NO game last year.
3. GB @ Chicago (+3): GB has demolished both opponents and is a super bowl favorite. Chicago is a big mystery - not sure how good they really are. Always take the home dog in a divisional game. Packers barely beat the Bears last year when Chicago had an idiot as an OC and all the injuries on the defensive front (Urlacher, Pisa and secondary)

I always laugh when ppl jump on a team when their reasoning is "they are gonna be pissed". You know how many people got burned when Tomlin said they would "bring the wood" after a bad loss last year? Wait to see if NE gets to -12.5 and tease it down to -6.5 with another pick. Similar to the GB game.

Agree with CIN tho. That line is soft.

Others I like a lot are WSH -3.5, GB -3, and SD -5.

People will be scared to bet SD after what they saw them do on the road in KC and how SEA plays at home, but let's not kid ourselves. SD is a very good team and the opening day eternal optimism is over and done with in Seattle. Back to life, .. back to reality.

I don't bet games based solely on the emotional/psychological factor alone.

Leftwich should get the start in this game. It's pretty impressive what PIT has been able to do on defense after getting virtually no support whatsoever from their offense.

The Jets under pops out to me. Both teams run first pass later. First half under 17 could be attractive as well.
