Amen brother! If anyone thinks that Arkansas can hang within a touchdown to Alabama they need to watch more games of both teams. Arkansas has no defense and Alabama will run on them all day long. Besides, Mallet is not the most accurate qb and that Bama secondary will get at least 2 turnovers.
Bama will roll here
I already bet this as soon is it came out Bama -6.5 (4 units)Comment -

#41For those who think Mallet folds under presssure, I guess they did not bother to watch the Arkansas-Georgia game, especially the last game winning drive. So much for the SEC "expert" in here. If everyone and his mother, including the sharps, are on Alabama, I will wait and see how high the line climbs. I too, think that Alabama is the better team, because of the total lack of defense on Arkansas's part, and I also think that the game will be high scoring. But the game is in Arkansas, and stranger things have happened.
As far as Auburn-South Carolinaq go, all you neeed to know is Steve Spurrier. He will find a way to lose that game. South Carolina is not nearly as good as people think.Comment -

#44Don't think the Hogs score enough to keep this one close...
As far as my Gamecocks go, the Plains have not been kind to us in the past. If the winning team has 17-21 points, we got a chance. If the winning team has 30 or more, it won't be us...

#45Arkansas' offense doesn't seem near as potent as they did last year...and remember how Mallet was shut down by simple disguised packages last year
. And whatever improvements the Razorback defense has shown this year....Bama's offense has improved as well. I love it when Bama can run no back sets....single backs...pistol...shotgun...wildcat etc and still not skip a beat. Gonna be a LONG day for the Hogs.

#49Duke head coach David Cutcliffe said after Saturday's game that "this is the best Alabama team I have ever seen." Cutcliffe has been around the SEC for years as offensive coordinator for Tennessee and head coach at Ole Miss. He said Bama just has no weaknesses on offense, defense, special teams or coaching.
Pretty strong praise coming from Cutcliffe.Comment -

#50doesn't anyone who likes ark remember last year's games ? mallet went 12-35 for 160 yds in a blowout lose to ala. .... or how he was 12-27 in a loss to fla...... or how he was 12-34 losing to miss..... and then there was the 12-39 in a lose to Lsu. he sucks against quality teams and as far as i can tell there ain't much more quality than alabama out there. lay the wood this is an easy peasy japanesie winner for bamaComment -

#52In watching Bama games the one thing that stands out most is the Tide D just does not miss many tackles. Where alot of teams get extra downs because of missed tackles near the yardsticks, Bama's defense seems to wrap up and prevent extra 1st downs. This keeps their D fresh, wears on their opponents D, and makes if hard to lay $ against Saban and his crew.Comment -

#53Completely. Its your classic game that tries to fool you with home field and a good quarterback. But in the end, Bama's D will tighten by the second half and force Mallett into a subpar game, while Arkansas D wont be able to contain the Tide running or passing game. They couldnt even contral Georgia when the game mattered most. 34 - 21 Bama.Originally posted by jjgoldBama is going to bury them

#55He also played and was an assistant at Bama. He knows his Bama football well. Im thinking Bama will come out and put this away with a quickness. Remember Bama's D doesnt have to play shut down all day. If the offense can score fast early and shut down Ark a few times. Then they can move to classic Saban pound it football and eat the clock. #57I like bama -7 in this one....too good of a ground attack by bama....BUT..The key is arkansas's running game....they coldnt get nothing going against uga...you gotta run it to beat bama...if not they are going to pressure mallet all day to help the young secondary...So if Arky cant run...Bama controls game with long drives and keeps mallet off the fieldComment -

#60why on earth is it a square play..... would you like it better if it were 8.5 or 9. if it were higher then peeps would be saying the other side was the square play.... to quote crosby stills nash & young "paranoia strikes deep, into your hearts it will creep..." alabama in a runaway quite possibly the likes of last week (well maybe not that big a blowout but pretty big). this will be one of those games you'll be kickin' yourself at halftime for not betting more!Comment -

#61love alabama -7 arkansas will not run on alabama, and that will make them one dimensional, alabama will get at least 2 turnovers, and late in the 3rd and 4 they will run it down arkansas throat and win by 2td or more. thats just my opinion lol good luck to all.

Nice post! Someone in here wants us to believe that Mallet can handle Bama because of a late drive to beat Georgia.
If Bama is the 'square play', then call me Spongebob because I will be building my BR for sure on this game. Let's pound this one fellas. This is a gift and the wise ones on here know that without any doubts.
