Just never got into the social networking thing. More sports and news type guy. Seems like every show or business has a twitter, is it just marketing bs or what?

Very stupid i never understood the concept either.

Facebook and myspace were stupid by themselves, if i wanted to talk to someone id call them or text them. But i can understand the concept of people being bored and wanting to chat with each other, but thats what instant messaging is for.

Twitter on the other hand takes it to the extreme its a tiny little site where you post like 1 sentence or less phrases of what u are doing, very very very stupid.

I've used it in the past to follow various stuff (political, betting, movies, etc) but haven't used it much recently as the crap to useful info ratio is too unbalanced in IMO... I never posted as I can't see anyone given a shit what I ate for lunch (since I'm not Shaq) and pretty sure all my followers where just porn bots anyhow...

It's good for getting updates on teams and players. Other than that it's pretty dumb.
