Well I worked for 3 years straight doing construction and going to school. I got in the union and was making $27 an hour + benefits but I was getting too stressed out after 3 years of that and school that I decided to stop doing that at least for now and settle down a bit and concentrate on my studies and get school out of the way and then decide what I want to do after I get my degree. Basically I was balling with all my money at such a young age but I havent had a real job in about 9 months now and that money is going FAST with my rent and going out and all that bullshit. So once I finish school in May the fun is overComment -
and.... I saved enough money to buy a townhouse for 171,500 two years ago and once I decided that I was going to stop construction and concentrate on school I knew I wouldnt be able to afford the mortgage payments so I just sold my place last month for 190,000 to a family member so there were no realtor fees or anything so im making 19k on that but i havent gotten the money yet bc he is still waiting to get approved for his loan... I should be getting that money within 30 days or soComment -
Man, that's amazing 5. Nice to see u were smart with your money and did well for yourself. Construction is tough work, bust your balls doing that stuff. I'd rather get paid less and chill. But then again it blows not having money. Like i said, Nice to see other people doing well for themselves tho

Yeah it was tough but getting that kinda money at 19-21.5 was super nice so it was worth it. Its actually my Dad's company but he wanted me to finish school and I was struggling pretty bad with school the last year or so working there bc school was getting a lot harder and working 7-3 and then going to class from 5-10 was just taking its toll on me. Luckily my dad is awesome and understood and just said go finish school and come back when your ready... So yeah I will be done with school in May and then will most likely be working for him again in the summer and beyond... and then eventually taking over when hes ready to hang it up

I worked 50 hours once upon a time, had some extra money, but couldn't hang out wit buds and spend it since i was always at work. Tough world out there to survive in.
