#3He's thinking - Man, I bet they're cold as **** right now.
He's under 40. He's a multi-millionaire. He's doing what he wanted to do (broadcasting). He's not taking a beating (physically) every week.
He was set on retiring for a while. I don't think he's regretting it at all.
Chicago is dirty, he's thinking that, too.Comment -

#6We already saw the patriots school them once. Whats the point of another rematch? Giants will get alot of money on them, I'll take the Pats MLComment -

#11I guess this makes the Rivers-Manning swap a few years ago a wash. Chargers were just unfortunate to be in the same conference as the Patriots.Comment -

#13That's the point. If he seriously cared, he would at least feel a little bitter about this happening without him.Originally posted by TexansFanHe doesn't care. He's rich and is doing exactly what he wants to in life. He left the game healthy and on his terms.Comment -

#14I agree with Shockey and his constant bitching about not throwing him the ball. Manning has played excellent with the other TE. Screw Shockey.Originally posted by jjgoldTikki and Shockey were cancers to the team.Comment -

#15My only point was that now that he's retired, doing what he wants, why should he care? He should feel happy for his former team mates but I don't think he's sitiing back regretting that he retired.Originally posted by Mr KLCThat's the point. #16Agreed. I don't think that he regrets retiring, I think that he might regret that all this happened the year after he left.Originally posted by TexansFanMy only point was that now that he's retired, doing what he wants, why should he care? #17I'm sorry but I always felt the giants were playing from behind and out of desperation against the patriots. not that there is anything wrong with that. Patriots have an aging LB core. JR aint the same, Bruski isn't either, Vrable is a effective pass rusher coming off the edge, but I think he's slighly above average in pass coverage/run support. Thomas is exceptional. I think the middle of that D is weak.
To me the game was pretty methodical Tom Brady picking people apart and winning the game. The score might have been close at the end, but to me I never felt like the giants had more than a dark horse chance at winning. Yes, thats a chance, but I have a feeling this superbowl might be over before the 2nd half begins.
Its nice having Eli in it instead of Peyton. But this is nothing more than a rematch of week 17 and frankly Its dissapointing to see this game for a 2nd time in 5 weeks.Comment -
