In General, In All Sports Are You More Comfortable With Overs Or Unders?
Seems to me that I must pull the trigger 75%, probably more than that even, on Unders. Pretty much look for spots to do that with in all sports. Its a well ingrained tendency for me.

Probably has to do with the fact that nothing has to happen for me to win an Under. So I'm starting the game out as a winner. Whereas the opposite is true betting an Over. Starting the game you are losing and that must change for you to win. In any event, I'd say over the years the Under has generally served me well.

Understand this is a huge generalization, with differentiation from sport to sport. But I'm suspecting most everyone has a tendency, or perhaps a lean in one direction or the other, that crosses from one sport to another. Your opinions?

Unders are the way to go. My only exception to that is college football o/u's that are in the high 60's to 70's. Seems like a ton of points but the games always seem to be pretty close to the # with time left. Perfect example was Houston and UTEP on the 10th. I'll always stay away from those o/u's. Too unpredictable.
I'm sure the majority always bets the over though. How many points do you think the books add to key games in football because of this? 2 points? 3 points? more? Just curious.

Of course they will come to bite you once in a while. I was in Las Vegas week one of college football and had Wisconsin UNLV under BIG. I think by the third quarter Wisconsin had held UNLV to -2 yards rushing and 12 yards passing but almost every turnover was returned for a quick touchdown. I had 6 points left to give at the start of the 4th quarter and there was a touchdown 6 seconds in. When I looked at the final those were the last points and I lost by one. That's what makes the unders difficult. You analyse everthing right and one team is held to practically 0 yards while the other team continuously runs the ball but still lose because of an enormous amount of turnovers.

There was like a 3 month stretch in NBA where I would only bet unders, was literally paranoid/terrified of taking overs.

Snapped out of it, but still bet majority under; I don't bet many totals, though.

It's all about the line relative to the market. No preference either way.

                            MLB totals? Definitely.

NBA totals may be the easiest to predict/cap I think though.

I remember back about 8 years ago making a killing on 2nd half under for Denver Nuggets home games.
