damn there are a lot of stuck up people on this site coming out of the wood work... my simple point is I wouldn't play like an idiot... and I don't understand how you think that making 1... yea 1 $200 deposit makes you more valuable to SBR than me... but that's fine... just tired of a-holes like all of you... What people are failing to realize, and I have yet to see pointed out in all these threads, is that non pros also contribute. SBR sells ads etc by the TRAFFIC of the site. How do you think they built the site from the beginning. I have no problem with giving Pro's more points, but to limit from non Pro's for poker seems silly.

Many of us play at pretty popular books that aren't listed on the PRO books (wagerchief etc) or use locals. I so plan on just throwing some on a Pro site just to get the status. It's massively -ev for me not to do Pro as I will completely stomp sports gamblers at poker.

What you fail to realize is most non-pros would be posting here if SBR gave them only 1 point a day. There are two reasons for this:

1. They are not here for points, instead come for information/community. Examples include pavyracer and lakerboy.

OR, and pay attention to this one:

2. They are degenerate broke fukks and are desperate for money and found a forum that gives them potential to make money without doing anything except posting, which is what they were doing anyway. Examples can be found throughout this thread.

Guess which one the majority of the non-pros who complain are. So, while they complain about not getting equal treatment, they continue to fail to realize they speak from a position of zero power. They have nothing to barter/threaten with.

What are non-pros going to do? Threaten to continue to not deposit into sponsored books? We all know most of them never intended on depositing. What else can non-pros threaten with? Never posting on SBR again? That will never, ever happen, because 6 points or 1, most are pathetic losers who will do anything for free stuff.

I have nothing against non-pros. I get it, these are hard times, sure. You have other things you need to take care of, good for you. Just shut the fukk up.

I can somewhat understand the non-pro's gripe that they bet w bookies or non-sponsored books, but it's only $200 bucks, how hard is it to throw a couple hundred in a new (sponsored) book and try them out. If you are in fact betting with a bookie, and it isn't pennies, 200 shouldn't be that big of a deal. I'm a senior in college and I can even afford it.

It really is not a lot to ask and it helps keep the poker game fun and keeps it among friends who are real and verified. In fact, if you hang out here much you really can't afford to not go Pro.

Just hate beggars and people that think they're entitled to something they most certainly are not. Sbr has practical business reasons for offering perks to people that directly contribute to their sponsors, everybody bitching in this thread must not get it or willfully pretends to not get it in hopes they'll get even more thrown their free-loading way. Nobody bitches at other forums when full prizes are awarded to active players.. only at sbr, home of the poor degenerate broke fucks do the beggars come out and whine about something that makes perfect sense.

Be grateful for what sbr and the books do offer you, don't be a bitch about what they dont. Especially when the thing they're witholding is easily attainable with a small deposit to any number of the top level books.

I love the pro program. It's doing a great job of weeding out the people worth reading and the losers who come here just to freeload and get handouts under the guise of "contributing".
