I still can't gauge who the real JJ is?Is JJ connected? He seems like a big east coast NYC blowhard -foghorn leghorn at times and I can't tell if he's just a good story teller and actor or if he actually did all the shit he claims to have done.

It sounds as though JJ is working the docks making more than your average lawyer or chiropractor these days? What Tony Soprano got you that job JJ?If JJ is so authentic and such a believable character, why doesn't he go to Hollywood and play a NYC,loudmouth, black market trading, streetwise degenerate gambler? He could make a few hundred K a year having fun just being himself.

I just started getting a NYC station on Dish Network and the one hour late evening newscast is better than any Al Pacino movie and I think of JJ when I watch it.Dirty cops, homeland security employees getting caught selling their bohemouth gas hog vehicles with big loans to cops on stings at chop shops,NYC utility department stealing hundreds of grand worth of gasoline from the city,Sanitation employees in Jersey protesting for paid MLK day off,all OTB's closing soon because even though race betting is popular, expenses and wages are making OTB's go broke.

NYC seems like it's absolutely rotten to the core and watching the news is fascinating like watching an ant farm where you mix half red ants with half black ants where mayhem, graft, corruption and carnage is everywhere.

Artie Lange used to work as a longshoreman in JJ's neighborhood too, the comedian who works on Howard Stern's radio show. He is a lot like JJ's character, except he is much fatter.

Was a big time gambler back in the 80's and 90's, he talked about having $15k on the Giants/Pats game, had Giants +13.5. Said a guy called him and told him that was the play, so he said screw it and threw $15k on it. He makes about 1.8M a year and like 50-100k a stand-up gig I believe.
