If your ever an average stack in any tournament you should be looking to build up or bust. Tournaments are all about building a mountain of chips and wielding them at every opportunity. It took me a decent amount of time to learn that playing to cash in tournaments is a surefire ticket to busto-town.

I only cash in about 14% of the tourneys I play, but when I do it isn't to mincash. That's what makes a profitable tourney player.
