One of my worst IOWA wagers was taking them in the 1982 ROSE BOWL as a small favorite............they got destroyed by Washington.


Was in attendance and it turned out to be not a very fun day.

Interesting, as one of my all-time favorite wins involved going against IOWA when they traveled to Arizona to play the Wildcats a long while back and ARI got the relatively easy cover..........in fact, believe this will be IOWA's first trip back to Tuscon since then when they meet the undefeated Wildcats this Saturday.

Iowa will be without there terriffic defensive coordinator who will be in the hospital with back pain.
