those happen every now and then, but i'll never forget my most shining moment in my career. i was young with hardly any cash back in the late 80's and it was the last day of the week before we pay the local. i owed him 2800$ going into the final day.. i then proceeded to chase (i was broke and young). i put in 2900$ on Chi vs DET un 6.5..(nhl)

I was watching the game and it was 3-3 just 4 min in.. i left the bar and started crying.. i now owed him just under 6k.. i go home and i find out it's 3-3 and they are heading to OT.. 5 min OT now starts.. and it's all open nets and breakaways.. no goals scored, but i saw 2 goal posts..

final score..

3-3.

I screamed.. it was one of the best days of my gambling life. instead of paying him 6k,, i collected 100$..

and i would have had to find a job to pay this debt..

sorry man not trying to rub it in... I gave up and was just amazed as I watched it... I don't think there was a fricken base runner from the 5th inning on until there was 1 out in the bottom of the 9th... unreal!

i got fukked on a game like that once. had the over it was 8. cards- pirates game. kris benson vs i dont remember. 7-0 cards bottom of the first. no scoring rest of game.

That's why you don't bet baseball. A's ace pitcher Cahill got destroyed today by the 52 wins Royals. There's barely 100 folks at that freaking game, and the Royal are putting up a clinic.
