fantasy B-Ball at Oddsmaker, anyone play?
I know oddsmaker is a worthless book, but i've been playing their fantasy NBA B-ball contest, just to see if i can win some free money and they actually pay. they claim to payout weekly, monthly, and season winners. every day you summit a line-up and you get points for different categories. Anyway, i'm curious if anyone else is playing it. everyday i check my standings, i go backwards, my points stay the same for 2-3 days at a time, then they'll jump up, then all the sudden the next day i'll have less points than the day before. I know its a worthless cause, but I still summit my line-up everyday. i've e-mailed customer service like 4 times asking about the contest and the scoring and haven't got 1 e-mail back. anyway thats all, just curious if anyone else was wasting their time on this contest like me.

I have played all the fantasy bets and then some.

John Ross that runs Oddsmaker used to run Bet on USA and they used to run the same fantasy football, basketball, hockey and baseball contests on Bet On USA as they do on Oddsmaker. They used to run a free 5 team parlay bet that paid $250 in free bets on Bet on USA too.I actually had pretty good luck winning both the fantasy contest and free parlay a number of times but my luck really sucked when putting all the winnings on one game.

OK,both Oddsmaker and Bet On USA were and are pretty rinky dink operations. There are times when you think you had a great week on the fantasy contest where your selections and name mysteriously get deleted from the competition.I don't think it's crookedness at these places,I just think it's incompetence. The same goes for some of their comps, birthday promotions etc. They just don't word them right and people get ticked off when trying to comply with the rules and such. They just don't seem to be legitimate in many ways where it leads trusting them making anything more than a token deposit.

No doubt they will rob big winners and are good at it. They aren't small though. They may be the biggest piece mailer in the business right now.
