I ordered it through SBR Store few weeks back. I have read half the book. So far, I have barely learnt any new concepts. Most of the stuff we already know of or that has been discussed in think tank forum. So, far I havent found it useful. Hopefully, it will not disappoint me completely once I finish the book. So far, I have read half the book and I felt like I have wasted 10 hours of my life .

Some of the material is not new but it was great to read the anecdotal stories, such as betting props in Vegas.
The rest of the material is new and very useful to all gamblers. Most people want to "handicap" the game and ignore numbers. If you can't get into the numbers game you are leaving money on the table.
Very few handicappers on SBR would pass the handicapper success tests he outlines (both the Z score test and the closing comparison test). At a minimum this book should get readers to start measuring their success more accurately. At a maximum it will help players implement multiple mathematical methods for estimating their p, edge, and expected value. I am one of the latter.
Justin for 250 points I'll give it a good review..

There are no magic secrets in this book. If you have been a punter for a year or so...you would already know 60%-70% of the stuff. Guys who are mathematically inclined like me would already know 20% of the remaining stuff. The overall value of the book comes down to 10%-15% of the new material.
Having said this, I feel this book would be useful for newbies who are new to offshore sports betting. For the experienced bettors, this book would offer about 10%-15% new material.

I HEARD THE BOOKIES ARE BUYING THE BOOK LIKE HOT CAKES THEY WANT TO GIVE THEM TO THERE CUSTOMERS TO MAKE SURE THEY CONTINUE TO LOSE IF YOUR LOOKING FOR JUSTIN 7 FOR KEY INFORMATION AND GAMBLING ADVICE YOU WILL END UP BROKEN DOWN JUST LIKE HE IS
MAYBE JUSTIN 7 SHOULD WRITE A BOOK ON EATING DONUTS AND BEING OUT OF SHAPE AND LEAVE THE GAMBLING BOOKS TO SOMEBODY THAT KNOWS SOMETHING

I'd like to read BEANTOWNJIM's book for comparison.
200 pages all CAPS with plenty of ROFLs and emoticons.
Mostly focusing on his neighbor and his lawnmower, but with occasional bits about how to guess at NBA games using racism and stereotypes as his "data".

The book is geared towards a gambler who has just started betting. If you have been gambling for more than 1 year, then you know 90% of the material if not more

LOL
I have never seen a player post his z-score or his average value compared to the closing line. All I see are threads "I am hot, 15-5" like they are a savant. The only reputable tout that publishes his average value compared to the closer is Edward from RAS, and look how he is doing.
Let me revise your statement:
90% of the gamblers here don't know 10% of the material in the book.

I'm saving my money to buy Fishhead's new book "Dumpster Diving: How to find treasures and become a millionaire by doing garage sales".
