When I was growing up it was the New Orleans Aint's despite the fact that Peyton and Eli's dad was QBing them. Fans went to games with bags over their heads.

But year in, year out, for as long as I can remember, the hands down winner for franchise mediocraty is the Los Angeles Clippers.

I will agree with that statement Mofo. However, until that talent starts to produce in a winning way. I still have to say the D'rays are the worst IMO.

Even though they have only been around for 5 seasons the Columbus Blue Jackets are becoming the D-Rays of the NHL Jackets have never made the playoffs and thats hard to do when 8 out of 15 teams in each conference qualifies.

NFL Cardinals is my vote. These guys have been the doormat of the NFL for over half a century. I remember them beating the Cowboys in 1998. Yes, the Cowboys were already a crumbled dynasty by that particular game, that was certainly the deathblow, but it was about like watching a sandcastle go out with the tide.

Seeing as I know very little about European sports, personally I'd love to hear who the consistent sadsacks are on that side of the pond.

The Rays-Cardinals-Clippers Axis of Patheticness must have some type of European equivalent.....
