Cost Of Attending An NFL Game?
Haven't been to one in a decade or so and have no desire to ever go again. Enjoy my sportsbar type setup at home.

Watched the Cleveland Tampa Bay game Sunday where, even though there were plenty of empty seats, thousands paid for the experience of watching without any shade, two brutal teams play in 100 degree heat with 78% humidity and 100% hassle. My den was 72 degrees and I was also watching 3 other games in high def on several large screens. Beers were ice cold and cheap.

So since I've been out of the loop for awhile, just what would have been the cost for say 2 median priced seats, parking, and everything else to attend this game. I'm sure prices vary greatly depending on venue. Would be interesting to know how much $ in lets say Dallas as opposed to Tampa and in between.

I guess you really got to be fan instead of a gambler to be out there live.

Fan and Gambler. Like being and non-being as such, two entirely different concepts.

Mr Jones, I remember and liked the song the Talking Heads wrote/sang about you. Say hello to David Byrne. I used to go to games at Three Rivers all the time. Free. Back then they opened the gates at halftime and I lived close by, so... There was more reefer in the air than a rock concert.

i prefer to watch the games on TV. The only drawback is if too many people in your city agree with your thinking then the game gets blackedout.

          Bears tickets are terrible.

          100 per ticket.

          30 for parking.

          8 bucks a beer.

So looking at a total trip of 300-350

And thats if you're lucky enough to find tickets for 100 a piece, which is damn near impossible.

If it is worth it to you that is cool. Now of course you see no other games. And I see it as $330 to win $300 that could have been instead. But then that's the fan vs. gambler thing seen in the exreme.

                  it's just not worth it.

I've been to two games, both in the old Meadowlands, and both were because I got tix for free.

I wouldn't pay full price for tickets, and especially not now with the new place, where they gouge the fans with "PSLs" that don't give you any right to the seat. They just give you the ability to buy season tickets, but they have two teams playing in the stadium plus concerts and other stuff. Blatantly false advertising and a borderline scam.

Cheap in Buffalo, overpriced in Toronto.

College football games are much better value. Tickets are cheaper, atmosphere is better, tailgating is better, girls are hotter.
