they will be fine. all they need is to average 17 pts a game and they will still go 10-5 from here. i was waiting for this thread from jjgold. i was watching the game and i knew he would make it

Jets need to pick up a QB

Sanchez is a pretty boy who is afraid to get hit

Last year was the Jets D not Sanchez

Sanchez has always sucked, unbelievably overrated at USC, unbelievably overrated at NFL and in 2 years hell be a backup, the mexicans that have annexed southern california jumped allover him and made a huge deal out of him, that performance last night was one of if not the worst I've ever seen and I've watched Jamarcus Russel play.

Down by 1 with 1:30 and a timeout left Sanchez looked like he was fukin completely lost, put Peyton in that situation and its 50/50 they win the game, dirty Sanchez is fukin throwin 3 yrd passes into tight coverage over the middle then takin 30 secs off the clock givin signs over and over to his receivers, by the way what the fuk was goin on between him and his offensive coordinator it looked like the OC was tryin to talk a kid with Down's Syndrome through brain surgery

he's tenative. and not a leader. you can tell the players don't like him or trust him. not a field general for sure. he will get mysteriously injured and replaced. (curt warner?)

I agree with both posts here. The Jets coaching staff ingrained this idea in Sanchez: if you don't turn the ball over we will win. Last year that was absolutely the case. The reality is that he needs to take the next step in being a professional QB and begin making his progressions downfield rather than just checking down after his first read is covered. I'd blame the Jets coaching staff as much as Sanchez.

This is nonsense. The Jets defense alone wins them 6 games; they were playing Baltimore not Oakland.

Sanchez isn't the best QB out there obviously, but you guys are jumpin' on him in one game, during only his second year, against a really tough defense. I'm not a Sanchez fan nor a Jets fan, but it's seriously too early to call him trash.

Arrogant fuk should not have gone pro after riding the bench freshman year and having an average season with what should have been a great USC team his sophomore season. I don't know how he convinced everybody to think that he was a great QB.

Sanchez is horible they didnt go doun feild with him because he could hardly make the under 10 yard thows overthrowing open guys in the endzone by 10 yards he is horible "middle of the pack" QBs dont look so bad when they are surounded with an A+ team but sanchez still looks horible.

I think you misunderstand me. I'm not saying that their week one performances are what expose them as mediocre. Ironically it is the people who are using sanchez week 1 to say hes awful that are jumping the gun.

It was one game against a very good defense. Sanchez does suck but he's all they got and there's no reason why they should listen to you. There's no reason why anyone should even listen to speculation. EVERYONE in the Jets organization is smarter than anyone on SBR and they will make the best possible business decision. Viva La NFL.

Although I took BAL last night, I expected more from Sanchez. If this kid doesn't improve soon he's going to waste a great opportunity given their roster.
