They are banning people who are refreshing their lines too much. Were you sweating live betting lines or anything like that? My IP got blocked yesterday during the Sunday night football game. I guess I was hitting refresh too much during the commercials.

If you have an account, it is a simple matter to get unbanned. If you don't, I don't think they will do anything for you.

Got my IP banned a few days ago. Unreal you think these fuks would do things to welcome players and make things easier. Instead they do bullshit to drive people away.

Jesus, bookmaker has this shit figured out. I refreshed like a zillion times waiting for the NCAA openers to come out. I don't even do that much refreshing of lines at Pinny and now cannot even visit the site to check lines when not logged in.

I am saying that if you have an active Pinnacle account, then you can email them and tell them to unblock your IP. I guess I should have said "unblocked" instead of "unbanned" to avoid confusion.

There is another thread about 5Dimes and Pinnacle both blocking IPs recently. Search "screen scraping" and you should see the thread.

Like I said, Pinnacle blocked my IP last night.

SBR should ask Pinnacle what is behind their recent crackdown. I am not sure what their motivations would be. Either it is a significant drain on their servers (doubtful) or it is for security reasons (defeating DOS attacks???).

There is nothing wrong with Pinnacle's site. They have been blocking people from accessing the site by blocking those people's specific IP addresses. They do this when you keep refreshing the site in order to get constant updates on Pinny's lines.

I doubt the amount of US players even going to their homepage is cause for any concern. However, Pinnacle is probably just under DOS attacks all the time. I mean if this is your way to extort money from people then if you could actually accomplish it against Pinnacle, I am sure there would be a big pay day or jail time, whichever...

MY IP was blocked yesterday and the day before. First time it's ever happened. Takes less than 1 hr to get it unblocked, though, with an e-mail request.

I would assume not, though can't say for sure. I e-mailed stating my account number and IP address asking for it to be unblocked. What would be in it for Pinnacle to allow people to keep freshing their numbers if they weren't even going to bet them?
