Who will start more games this year: Kolb or Vick?

I'm going Vick..Kolb looked awful before getting hurt..

Dont be surprised that the team doctor is going to tell Kolb that he has a bad concussion and will be out awhile..and Vick is starter for the bulk if not the rest of the season.

Idiotic that this is a discussion. If Kolb is healthy, he is the starter. One game does not a season make nor break. Vick looked good last night but that was against a team that did not prep for him. If he's the named starter due to injury or whatever reason, teams will have time to prepare and game plan for him and he won't have as big an impact. His best use for Philly will still be to be inserted in spots during games as a change of pace.

Vick's arm will need more work and they will not be trailing by 17 in every game. When the game was on the line Vick didn't come thru. He is the perfect trailing by 17 QB.

Kolb is the starter cannot go on one half. He has had 3 starts in his career - 2 good 1 bad. Philly is rebuilding this year Vick is not the future. Would not be suprised if Vick is traded later on in the season. Vick has always been an average QB.

not necessarily true...most pocket qb's are so good because when they feel pressure they can escape it(mobility). Vick never had a good o-line when he was atl and yesterday he only scrambled when the o-line really collapsed or no one was open(aside from call qb sneaks).vince young went 8-2 last year and hes not a pocket qb.

with a nickel in. He is very average facing 7-8 man fronts intent on stopping the run.

NFL now does most of its passing from the shotgun. While this should favor Vick, never thought he made the most of his talent. Great arm, don't know how to vary the velocity on his throws. Kolb's job to lose.

The answer is Kolb - well assuming there is no serious injury to him,

1st) sure Vick looked good in one game, it happens, overall he will be poor. Dont be fooled by one good game.

2nd) Reid has decided Kolb is is starter, that's why he dealt Mcnabb, If nothing Reid is a stubborn SOB - Kolb will start regardless of how bad he does. He will start and he will throw it 50 times a game and the eagles will keep losing with terrible clock management --

Kolb will struggle against the jaguars and vick will come back into this game and play better than kolb and vick will get the starting position.

i agree its a good d-line but when u say that its a top 10 d-line, your saying a 1/3 of the league anyway...great call.
he's a mobile qb goin against a weak secondary so as im real impressed you think they got a d-line, his mobility negates it to a degree. When you have a mobile qb, you need to put a d-lineman or lb in spy which will hurt pass rush/coverage. Greenbay's d-line is better than detroits in my opinion as well as a much better secondary and he still was effective versus it.

Reid stayed with McNab thru some really bad times, he's a quarterbacks coach and will stick with Kolb until the bitter end, Michael Vic will be less effective when opposing teams actually game plan for him

the job is kolbs but he might not play till the game with washington because his bell gor wrung good ....vick will not be resigned next yr with birds so whats the sense of playing him when kolbs healthy ....this yr was a wash with birds anyway everybody knew that going in .....and dont get me started on the Badlands i used to love that place yrs ago
