3 years ago, they would have won by 38 as a 35 point fav.

Even last year they would have won by a good 21 as a 24 point fav.

And ungodly crickets for a night game that rivals only the Rose Bowl tonight 10 miles away...will they even sell a game out this year?

21 pts was way too much. I hate to sound like a "monday morning quarterback" but this line stuck out to me immediately. Yes I am sure the Trojans could have won by 20 or more but I saw this game to be a test for USC's defense. Plus the fact that it was one of the last games on the board today.

LA fans are finicky. If they know they don't have a chance to be THAT team, they won't show up and support you 100%. I'm originally from SoCal, I know this shit! We all know they'll support you when you're winning though...I think they call that fairweather . Glad to see USC is back to mediocre
