What a movie! It's on VHI right now.
And losing Patrick Swazye was about ironic as it can get! This was 1989, and he was in a superior physical condition! Twenty years later, he's wasted. A crime.

However, Patrick left behind this legacy; this being his shining role, plus, many extras, like sexy ladies, romance and fisticuffs.

And the co-stars: How about San Elliott and Ben Gazzara ! Wow!

This was a near perfect movie! A bit tongue in cheek, but believable!

    In my top five all-time!
Waterfront, still being the solid #1. [1954 ]

    Two things.

One - you know there's still football on, right? You shouldn't be watching VH-1.

    Two - Roadhouse =

        Pardon me, but I lost!
Now I can sit back and relax and watch this movie and reminisce about the 80's!

Totally agree- koby! The acting in the movie is so much better than it gets credit for.
